As this prep-room project is inspired by the correspondences between artists Georgette Chen and Rohani Ismail, the archival realm too consists of a collated site for Rohani Ismail’s archives. In the curator’s hopes to trace the albeit fragmentary practices of this artist, the archival realm also posits entry points for others to be introduced to non-canonical subjectivities within the ecology of artists from the 1960s to the 1990s, in Singapore/Malaya.
